Debbie Mabry Recipient of Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award

We are thrilled to announce that our very own Debbie Mabry has received the distinguished honor of being selected the recipient of the Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award at Altrusa’s 59th Annual International Convention in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. “The Eleanor Roosevelt Humanitarian Award is named in honor of the legendary Eleanor Roosevelt who included active membership in the Altrusa Club of New York City in her service-oriented life. It is Altrusa International’s only award given to an individual member. Designed to recognize an Altrusan who makes a lasting contribution to community service as a result of involvement with Altrusa, recipients must have a distinguished service record at the Local, District and International levels”. ~Altrusa International

Congratulations on this great achievement Debbie. We are so thankful for your lifelong service to others and are guided by your years’ long leadership in Altrusa and throughout our worldwide community.

Years of Service Audit

District Nine values the dedication and commitment of our members, and we are proud to celebrate and recognize Altrusans for their years of service. In order to honor members accurately, we are currently conducting an audit of membership records to ensure that years of service reflect actual participation. Your help is needed to verify both the start date and the years of service for each member so that our records remain correct and our recognitions are meaningful.
