Leadership & Succession Planning
Succession planning is more than just naming the next board member or committee chair —it’s about building a strong, ready leadership bench of all club members. Altrusa clubs should integrate leadership development into daily operations to ensure future sustainability and resilience, even during unexpected crises.

Policies vs Standing Rules:

Club are encouraged to have Altrusa Club Standing Rules so not to be confused with Altrusa International Policies.  

Policies and standing rules are both tools organizations use to guide operations, but policies act as overarching directional guidelines for decision-making (i.e. International) , while standing rules are specific administrative housekeeping details for meetings and daily logistics (Clubs).
