Altrusa Waxahachie recently started efforts to form a club led by the District Nine New Club Building (NCB) Committee. Following just two informational meetings, the club has reached charter strength, and chartering the new club is underway! The latest meeting was held at the beautiful Nicholas P. Sims Library in Waxahachie. Jennifer Graf, Library Director, is excited about partnering with Altrusa Waxahachie to expand some of the literacy events and implement ideas from Altrusa that can add a plethora of projects and programs to their agenda.
Altrusa Waxahachie donated toy items to the Nicholas P. Sims Library in Waxahachie. The donated toys will be part of the "End of Summer Reading Carnival", scheduled for July 26th at 1:00 PM.
