Altrusa International of Lake Cities, Inc. meets monthly on the 3rd Monday at La Madeleine in Rockwall, TX. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.
Altrusa International Foundation of Lake Cities, TX, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
Service Project Highlights
Handed out flags on July 4th at the Rockwall parade.
Earned $125 for Our Daily Bread by face painting at the Royse City Fun Fest.
Wrote 96 “Thinking of You” cards to residents and staff of Brookdale Senior Center.
Gave angel tree gifts to Women in Need and the Rainbow Room.
Donated toiletries to Women In Need.
Donated socks for the homeless.
Donated books to inmates via Eastern Star.
Donated books to Empower 7 (a group that helps teenage CPS kids).
Bought backpacks for the Rainbow Room.
Entered a “bra” in the Bras for a Cause contest in Greenville that raised money for a mobile mammography vehicle.
Donated books to Meals on Wheels to be distributed with meals.
Provided Thanksgiving baskets to Women in Need and Our Daily Bread.
Gave Valentine bags to the residents and staff of Brookdale.
