Altrusa International North East Texas Launches with Mardi Gras-style Charter Celebration Weekend

In a spirit of excitement and anticipation, Altrusa International is gearing up for a spectacular weekend to mark the chartering of Altrusa International North East Texas, co-sponsored by the Altrusa Clubs of Downtown Dallas and Greenville, TX. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Mardi Gras, the celebration promises a delightful blend of festivities, fellowship, and a touch of mystery.
 

Meet and Greet: A Warm Welcome

The celebration kicks off on Friday, February 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the quaint Carnegie Cottage, located at 300 E Carnegie St. in Winnsboro, TX. Altrusa International of Downtown Dallas will host this evening, providing members with the perfect opportunity to welcome new club additions. The icing on the cake? International President Linda Smith and esteemed guests from the International and District Nine Boards will be in attendance, ensuring a warm and inclusive atmosphere.
 
Charter Celebration Day: A Day of Milestones
The climax of the weekend unfolds on Saturday, February 3, at the Winnsboro Center for the Arts, 200 Market St., Winnsboro, TX 75494. The Charter Ceremony, a momentous occasion, is scheduled to commence at 3:30 pm. Attendees will then be treated to a thrilling Murder Mystery Dinner starting at 5:00 pm, complete with appetizers, dinner, and entertainment—all for a nominal fee of $65.00. Those only attending the Charter Ceremony will be graciously exempt from any charges.
