INFORMATION ABOUT CLUB FORMATION:
Organizational meeting, charter banquet, early leadership. Look for information and photographs from old newspaper clippings, search through old yearbooks and scrapbooks, or archives for your club.

LEADERSHIP:
Search through old yearbooks and scrapbooks to find information on the early leadership in your club. Who was your first president? Who from your club served the District? Did you have a member who served International or the International board or Foundation Board?
 
SERVICE:
What was your club’s first service project, or one of the first? What were you known for in your community in the early years? What are you known for in your community now or what is the project that your club is proud of?
 
LITERACY/VOCATIONAL SERVICE:
For the older clubs, what were your vocational guidance project (the first Altrusa service focus). For all clubs – What are your literacy projects either historically or present? How has your club made an impact on literacy in your community.
 
THE WAR YEARS:
Patriotism was extremely high in Altrusa during the war years. For the very early clubs, what did your club do to support the war efforts? Might have to really dig for this information, but if you can find it, please include.
 
FUNDRAISERS:
What was one of your first fundraisers? Almost all clubs sold some sort of gadget in the early years. What is your most successful or most recent fundraiser?
 
CLUB IMPACT:
If possible, estimate about how many members your club has had since it was chartered and about how many service hours the club averaged for those members.

 
PHOTOGRAPHS:
Please send photos in high resolution of your old and new projects.
