You are invited to support District Nine's 2022 Conference Service Project
"Bundles of Support" for Families in Crisis, Inc.
District is looking for donated items, monetary donations, and Amazon Wish List Purchases to support this year's project.
Back in 2019 at the last "in-person" conference, Altrusans learned about Human Trafficking and what devastating numbers of victims were falling into the cycle of violence and abuse.
During the 2022 District Nine Conference, our District-wide Service Project will support "Families in Crisis, Inc." Families In Crisis, Inc. (FIC) was established in 1980 to assist and empower victims of family violence and sexual assault in Bell, Coryell, and Hamilton counties in Texas.
We have an opportunity to support this organization's mission with "Bundles of Support". As an individual or a club, Altrusans can bring bundles or donate money at the 2022 District Nine Conference. These suggested bundles will assist with support for 100's of victims in the area.
"Bundles of Support" items are listed below for things to bring to conference. Amazon Wish List links are also available for those wanting the convenience of directly shipped donations AND for those unable to attend conference but still wanting to support this important cause. Monetary donations directly to FIC are also accepted.
You may bring your bundles or monetary donations to Frances Dalbey, District Nine Service Chair, and her team in the Everything Room at the 2022 District Conference, April 29-30, 2022.
