District Nine is looking for clubs willing to kick off Fall with a quick, easy and meaningful international project!
If your club already has an International Project, we encourage you to add this project to your October meeting. If your club doesn’t yet have an International Project, this is the perfect way to get started! Join Altrusa District Nine in supporting Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF by collecting loose change and cash at your October club meeting.

This project also ties in beautifully with the United Nations article featured in this month’s Compass.  October 24, 2025 will celebrate one of the most important Days of Observance - United Nations Day! The 2025 theme is “Cooperation Builds A Better World”... What a beautiful way to celebrate!
This is also a great way to launch October as “International Relations Month” for Altrusa District Nine! At your October club meeting, set out a donation box for Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF and encourage members to drop in loose change and extra cash.
Your club’s participation will also align with upcoming District Nine events:
    • October 13 – Club President’s Council Meeting spotlighting the International Relations Committee
    • October 18 – Super Saturday Training will be a special session on International Relations
Thank you in advance for considering participation in this UNICEF project and recognizing United Nations Day i this special way.  Let's see how many clubs come together with "small change making a BIG change" beyond our borders.
